LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 2 Nova Southeastern Sharks Women's Tennis team continued action at the ITA South Regional Championships on Saturday. NSU went a combined 7-2 in Saturday's action.

DOUBLES
Natalie Espinal and
Freya Davies began the day with an 8-0 victory over Melissa Yakup Poor and Ana Villalvazo from Auburn – Montgomery. The duo advanced to the quarter-final round of the doubles tournament.
Lexie Weir and Lian Benedjcic also earned a doubles victory, defeating Barry's Nathalia Gasparin and Dinara Alloyarova [8-5]
SINGLES
Natalie Espinal earned a pair of singles victories; first, beating Adriana Subias (Delta State) [6-0, 6-0] and then defeating Selina Pichler (Barry) [6-2, 6-4].
Lexie Weir also added two singles wins; beating Kristin Younes (Lynn) [7-5, 6-4] and Olivia Bryant (Florida Southern) [7-5, 6-2]
Freya Davies went 1-1 on the day, beating Aline Midori (West Florida) [7(10)-6(8), 6-4] in the round of 16 but fell against Clara Versier (Barry) [6-2, 4(7)-6(10)] in the quarter finals.
Lian Benedejcic dropped her contest against Salma Djoubri (Lynn) [2-6, 2-6]
